my baby isnt here

my sister is keeping my daughter for the night. she turned 6 months today. its her first time away from me. i miss her so much. i keep wanting to go check on her then i rememer she isnt here. boo hoo

My DD is 11 months old and I haven't ever spent a night away from her.

Im a paranoid freak though.  

I wouldn't be able to do it. I am too attached...especially for overnight.

My little guy is 3 months old and I keep thinking about the first time I leave him with someone overnight.
I'm pretty sure I'll throw a party and then end up crying in a corner. I'm very conflicted, lol!

Glad you get a night to yourself to relax. But yeah, I'll bet you miss her like crazy. I bet your sister is loving the QT with her though.

I was def going to go a little wild tonight but I just cant. I'm worried something will happen and I cant go because I'll be drunk. I'm sad without her but I'm not gonna lie, I'm def going to enjoy snuggling with my main squeeze and sleeping sprawled out (she sleeps with us) in my bed. But then I think who needs sleep? I need my baby! Fair warning ladies, this is hard.

It' so hard the 1st time! DS is 6.5 months and we've left him overnight a few times now. We had a couple of trial runs with him staying at the in-laws because we were going away for our honeymoon for 3 nights! We could've taken him with us, but we wanted a bit of time to ourselves away from the city and the baby! Sounds a bit bad when I put it like that! One thing, if you're BFing, make sure you pump, else your boobs will be in agony! And have some fun and make sure you relax, she will be fine

Aw i dont think that sounds bad at all. Moms love their babies so much that they hate to admit when they need a break. I know thats how I am. I think its just natural to feel that way. Thanks for the bfing advice but I stopped that about a week ago. I wouldnt let her go if I still were honestly. And I think this is pretty funny. I wanted to be able to spread out and really sleep well but when I woke up I was in the same position I sleep in with her in the bed and I was cuddling a pillow that was in her spot.
