It's a French donut. They aren't as dense as your standard donut.

Yes they are yummy and SOOO easy to make. Easiest way to describe is french donuts. There isn't any icing, just powdered sugar. I've even seen some people drizzle chocolate syrup on them. They're good with coffee. If ever in NOLA, go to Cafe Du Monde and order some!!
