Thats probably true - I figured she didn't have any kids, but I have seen MOST chefs have kids on their show at some point, but never her.

Food network. I make a LOT of what i see and the Cooking channel didnt have a great website.
I dont watch many of the competitve shows and prefer the demos of how to make something yummy. I've learned sooooo much. I was a great cook before FM but the shows have really enhanced my game.
I prefer Sunny to the Neelys. I made her bay ridge empanandas all the time.
I LOVE Big Daddy's House. Is that still on?

No, they took Big Daddys house off, I think. Then they advertised Bobby Deans show and I've never actually seen it on, but I've watched it on Cooking Channel, I wish Food Network had added it, it's actually pretty good.

I have two minds about the Pioneer Woman. On one hand, I agree - I like the lifestyle and I like that the food she makes tends to be really down to earth and accessible, but something about her irks me and I don't know what it is! I like reading her blog, though.

Yup. She is not telegenic but I'm glad she got the show as it shows that it can be done if you arent gorgeous, have a great speaking voice and and dynamic personality. She is there because of her solid recipes and her unique perspective from the ranch. I dont think she will be around for a zillion seasons like Ina, Rachel and Bobby.

Yes, that is something I agree with - she is unique and I can appreciate that.

Yes! Anne Burrell! We LOVE her in our house! She's got such a great personality and you can tell she's very genuine and a good person - and of course, she's fabulous in the kitchen.

I ALWAYS have several ziplok bags of Anne's Bolognese in my freezer. And, her braciole is also amazing and in my freezer!

my Turkey recipe came from food network. In recent years I've added a very yummy apple juice brine to it, but it has always been a crowd pleaser. Even more so w/ the brine, though.
