He's the asshat here, not you. I mean what you did was definitely immature and silly but he was still caught doing something wrong. Just move on and be glad you didn't get too invested and THEN have him show his true colors.
And I'll say it again, if you are in a good place to start a relationship you will not end up with someone who can't be trusted right from the get to. When you respect and care about yourself enough, the people you attract will be people who really respect and care abou you too. Kwim?
