Depressed.

I'm in one of my moods again and it's driving me crazy I'm so depressed I can't handle anything. And my doctor won't take me seriously and SO won't approve of me talking to a psychiatrist. I really need something my depression hasn't been this bad since I was in middle school. I hate everything. Being a mom is so stressful, I can't lose weight, I feel ugly and I feel like I'm an embarrassment. I don't know what to do.

Why do you need your SOs approval to go see a psychiatrist?  

Your so doesn't approve of you getting help? Then you seriously need to leave him.

I don't have a car he would have to take me and watch DD for me to be able to go.

He doesn't know what's going on and he isn't one I can talk to realt he says I'm over reacting

That's just wrong he won't let you get help. If he really cared about you and how you felt, he would do anything to help you.

That's awful. My SO is very supportive of my depression and my treatment. That's how he should be. He needs to do some research on depression. I'm sorry mama.

I don't tell people what's really going on. I just can't. I hate crying and talking about what's going on with me but I really need something to help me. These mood swings are to much to handle! In middle school I was diagnosed with manic depression and bipolar and I was hospitalized for over a month for it and I could handle it but the past month it's been harder then its ever been to control it. I'm a smurffy mom and everything.

I'm the same way. SO doesn't ever know I'm depressed until I get horribly bad. And nobody at work or anything knows cause I don't say a thing or complain or vent.

You do really need to talk to you husband about the severity. It can be hard for him understand especially if he's never struggled with it. But he does need to try. That's part of being a good spouse.

Everytime I eat something I get really depressed. I hate myself for every bite I take and this is my main problem
