It is NOT too short.

Your children's names have nothing to do with each other. Just name her Eve or Eva and move on. No one is going to say "hey! you're second child's name is too short! you can't do that!" Being a member of the name police, I can tell you this is NOT against the naming laws.

While I agree that I don't think Eva / Eve is too short (very beautiful choice), I understand you wanting a long form of the name, being a nickname addict myself.

Uhm, to not repeat anything - maybe Ginevra / Geneva, Elisheva, Evadne, Evelia....
