16 & pregnant again

posted 18th Nov
Im 16 and currently 10 weeks pregnant with my second child. I had my first daugther when i was 16 but got pregnant when I was 15. My due date falls on my daugthers birthday, crazy huh. But i work 60 plus hours a week and am in school full time. Believe it or not but with my first pregnancy I actually got more work done at my school than I had prepregnancy. Now i only have 8 credits left and will be graduating from my school with a diploma a year befor my graduating class   . SO my question is am I really that irresponsible? I dont drink or do drugs i get my school work done and i fully support my daughter and have been saving up (currently $900) for an apartment when i turn 18.

Lol, good job. You didn't learn that sex equals babies the first time? Good luck, kid.

You sounds responsible enough. I think it was incredibly irresponsible of you to get pregnant again tho.

Yes it was very irresponsible to get pregnant again at such a young age. But I'm just curious.. where do you work that you work 60 hrs a week AND are in school full time?

i think you are. how are you going to save up for an apartment, with all those added bills PLUS save for another child at the age of 16. if you already work so much how can you put another child in that situation. you obviously much know how hard it is just raising 1 child at that age so why put yourself in that predicament again

You wre not responsible enough to have protected sex or stop having sex. Congrats on finishing school and such but pregnant one right after another at 16 doesn't scream responsible to me.

Exactly. It's not even legal for a minor to work that many hours. There are child labor laws.

I don't see how you can work 60 hours a week, go to high school and raise one kid, let alone two...

Yes, you are irresponsible because you weren't smart enough to learn from your mistake the first time and you continued having unprotected sex. Now the kid you already have will suffer even more because you were a dumb smurf and your parents will now have to help support you and TWO babies.

are you still with their father? When you grow up, you'll get it. You won't necessarily regret it, but you'll understand why it's irresponsible.

Not to mention the cost of full time daycare with two children is far more expensive than just one......
