Fungal diaper rash?

I posted last night DD had weird bumps on her diaper area and belly. She still has it kind of. Now tonight I noticed she has like 8 tiny white head pimples lower, right on her butt. Does that sound like a fungal rash? I'm worried and I don't know if I should call the pedi in the morning.

What else could it be?

It sounds like a yeast rash.

Have you tried anti-fungal cream and cornstarch?

No, I just noticed the white bumps and I don't have either of those things. Should I call her Dr? She's 12 weeks today if that makes any difference.

I would save the trip to the doctor and go get Lotrimin over the counter jock fungus cream that is safe for babies. Cover it with cornstarch. The kind you buy in the baking aisle. If it is a yeast infection it will be cleared up by morning.

I live pretty far out of town either way. If I wait until morning will that be okay? It's late and I don't want to drag her out in the cold for so long right now

I think she would be fine as long as she's not miserable, acting like she's in pain or running a fever.
