Sweet potatoes.

If I wanted to make mashed sweet potatoes:
should I bake them, then mash them?
Or boil them, then mash them?

I plan on making a butter/cinnamon mix to mix all up in that shiz. Oh god is it Thursday yet?

i don't know why, but i have never thought of boiling sweet potatoes.... hm....

How long would you bake it for? You know what is really good? Baby carrots, steamed with cinnamon, butter, allspice, brown sugar..and vanilla and ginger if you want.

Oh no, you bet your bottom dollar there will be carrots with cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter at my table! Lol- but I'm using regular carrots; going to cut them in half, boil them, then saute' them in butter cinnamon and brown sugar.

nomnomnom my dad called them kicked up carrots and it was a little bit of heaven on the table. I can't wait to eat. AND I can't wait for leftovers

I usually make candied yams, but I made her mashed sweet potatoes and then butternut squash, with butter and brown sugar. She ate uncooked squash but not after it was cooked. But it was really good and everyone else ate it!
