28 wks and worried

I went in for a 3D ultrasound yesterday and due to what the u/s tech said "I'm small", I couldn't get a pic of babies face. Just the side. It was as her face was smashed up against the placenta. Is this normal? I need help with answers!

How long were you in there for? Baby didn't show it's face at all? I'm thinking it's okay....call your doc or bring it up at the next appt maybe?

That's normal, don't worry. If they didn't seem concerned then you shouldn't be either.

This happened with my 19 week ultrasound. Nothing to be worried about  

Yes that's normal. If you had to fit in a small box wouldn't your face be squished up against something?

Okay, good. And yes I would assume so. Its just that a couple of my friends are smaller than me and could see everything in there u/s later than 28 wks. And I was there for about 25 minutes.

I had my first 3d ultrasound at 35 weeks and was only able to get the same shots. My lo has no room between his face and my placenta. I have an anterior placenta which made it so dam hard to get anything more than the side of his face also because he's so crammed. Totally normal. I'm sure you have anterior placenta to

Even though every pregnancy is different, I do feel reassured now that it is common. Thanks ladies
