It's your choice, but maybe they are just really concerned for the baby and don't know how to go about it in a better way.

I work at a smoke shop so right now I love smokers, I just would never smoke myself since I care too much about my looks and health.

Meh I smoke. Its my decision. I get bitched at. I don't care.

I can understand that,but why start back up? If its not a drug ( cause it is) then you would have no reason to go back to it.

I started back up after having my first.. I really just missed it. I like to smoke.   I like the smell, the taste and the motions. I even like the way the smoke looks when I blow it out... It's hard to explain. I quit because I was pregnant, not because I wanted to be healthy or anything.

I'm hoping to just quit this time even though I'm torn.... I really miss it, but now that I quit I can see how offensive the smell really is!

If you are going to keep smoking, you are going to have to let people's comments roll off your back. That goes for if you are ever going to go on a "ladies night out" as well, or if you decide to BF in public or FF even.

You cannot please everyone, someone will make rude comments about anything and everything you do.

I'm not saying it is GOOD for a baby but I smoke, I don't smoke around my LO and she had never gotten sick yet, so i seriously doubt it's a smokers cough  

It's your body and your health so it's really none of their business. I would tell them to get over it and that would be it.

I'm debating whether or not to take it up again after LO is born. This quitting smoking is brutal!!!! :/

I was doign good after DS was born til his father pissed me off and I just gave in.
