Im making a valid point right?

my SO and I want him to get a vasectomy done. I told him when the baby is 6 months old then i think he should go and get one and until then, we will TNTC like its no body business. but he thinks he should go get one asap.but what if i lose the baby? just becuase your so many months pregnant either doesnt mean you will get a baby out of it, and im afraid if he gets snipped. i will lose the baby and wish we had the oppurtunity to TTC again in the future.

Im not alone feeling this way am I? SO said if we lost the baby he wouldnt want to TTC right away, and I agree with that,but id like to know we have the option to TTC in the future if the time is right.

I'd wait until after the baby was born and got a clean bill of health, probably around the 6 week PP point before I had him to get a vasectomy.

I'd have him do it once the baby is born. GL!

even at 6 weeks PP though a baby still has a higher chance of SIDS. thats why i figure 6 months would be good ya know.

Have you considered storing his sperm? It would be one way to keep that option open forever without risking getting pregnant again.

If anythinf, have him freeze his sperm before getting the procedure done.

Well, technically they're not even out of the woods til a year if I'm not mistaken.
Six months is good, but I wouldn't want to give myself the opportunity to continue to delay it for other reasons. A lot of things can go wrong, you can't really just go off of that though.
LO is turning two now and the only reason why we've waited this long to make the appointment to discuss getting my tubes tied was because I have state insurance and just now became eligible because of my age.
