Definitely go with the fish."Guinea pigs are so simple to care for and while they are wasteful animals, they don't smell if their cage is up-kept. Like any pet, I clean his cage once a week. He's awesome with my almost 3yr old son and he's a sweet little guinea.

She never smelled, she wasn't really messy. She pooped and peed in one spot And we loved each other. This is sooo corny, but she was my best friend. She got to listen to all my secrets! I cried so hard when she got old and died.

He just nuzzles his little head up under my neck. Such a snuggle bug and he's always there for me when I'm down or sad. I wouldn't know what to do without him.
