well.... even though you felt crappy, it sounds like it went pretty well with them too. parents are going to be disappointed. they have a certain idea, a certain vision of how they expect their kids' lives to go. of course, they don't always go as they hoped, planned, dreamed, etc. and it takes time for them to come to grips with that. parents just want the best for their kids. so, i can see their point, but i am glad that they also recognize that you have had a change of heart from your original feelings and are now taking responsibility. i think they will come to be very proud of you in the next months and years when they see that you are making mature decisions for yourself and your child on the way.

glad it went okay, and glad that your mom is back to take you to the doctor. i'm sure she is very worried! hope you feel better soon too!

Seriously another one....Your jumping in here after 60pages. The guy was scared and had a bad reaction. He has changed his mind and is looking forward to the future with his GF and child. yeah i went to my dr and he did a mri but said it was just something about post concussion. said it could of been the stress that made it worse and to just stay in bed for the rest of the week. he gave me some pills to take for the headaches and dizzyness to. i picked up my school work from last week and this week. im so far behind now. wish i didnt skip so much. now i regret it. i need to pass and get my grades up so i have a chance of graduating and at least going to community college. i just am not getting the lessons tho. sucks i was just about to reallly pay more attention to school and this happens.

SOOO glad things went over ok. See they new that it was an accident with the car, and they are dissappointed in you, but are also proud of how your handled yourself while they were away.....When is your girlfriends next appointment?

Maybe ask about having a tutor or something come to your house to help you so you can get through your lessons? Hopefully you start feeling better soon and the meds help you be able to get your school work done.

Well sounds like resting and catching up on your school work is what you need to focus on now, since telling your parents is taken care of, and your on some what good terms with your GF's parent's good luck OP and hang in there.

yeah i am just so glad to have my parents home.

my gfs parents do seem better to me. i just have to go over and apologize to my gfs sister. gonna have to wait to do that tho. i think her and her bf should apologize to me and stop harassing me but i can just ignore that.

Whether or not your GF's sister and her BF should apologize to you or not just be the bigger person and just apologize to her, and just end it. That is really all you can do. So just focus on your studies, and getting better cuz your GF is going to need alot of love and support from you.

This is how I figured things would play out. I mean - they can't change anything and you ARE doing the right thing. Just give them some time to think and let it settle in.

yeah you were right. i asked if they still loved me and would love the baby and they said of course they would and they still like my gf. they asked if she was still planning on college which she is so they were glad. she wants to be a nurse. so yeah it seems like everything will be ok in time..

i wanted to go for business management. id like to keep working for my parents. i would like to work with my father and help manage the company and follow him.

Getting a degree even if you want to go into the family business is still smart, though. It gives you credibility with your families business contacts and you will honestly learn a lot of useful stuff. Then, if you ever want to branch out, you have the official qualifications to do so. I recommend doing at least your bachelors, though an MBA would get you pretty far, too.
