Don't stress too much. Sure, they may be disappointed in you, but I have a feeling they will support you. I mean, they seem to treat you like an adult anyway, leaving you on your own for weeks at a time. Even if that weren't the case - what's done is done, they may yell, they may get mad, but there isn't any changing it and if you show them that you are trying to do whats right, I am sure that will help the situation.

It's like ripping off a band aid, telling them about each thing separately is not going to make them take it any better, lol - may as well just get it done. Get them home, maybe make them dinner or something and then sit them down. Be like "Mom, dad - I messed up while you were gone." and just tell them what happened with the car and then tell them that you and your girlfriend are expecting.

(I don't know what happened with the car, but offer to pay for it. >_<)

well after i met with her parents i was driving home and it was snowing. i was so excited i didnt realize i was going to fast and i think i hit some ice under the snow. i spun out and hit a guard rail then spun around and hit another car then a car behind me hit me. scared the smurf out of me when the air bags went off. its a audi s4.

my back is killing me to and i hurt my wrist that is already in a cast. not sure how thats possible. plus i have the worst headache and dizzy. i can deal with the pain but the headache and dizzy sucks. it does get better when i turn off the lights tho so im just hanging out in the dark. lol

was supposed to go out at 9 with some friends but i think i might not.

Definitely don't go out. I mean - don't cut your friends out completely, but definitely start considering whats going on when you guys hang out and the possible consequences. Besides, it sounds like you need rest.

lol. its my car tho. parents got it for me when i was 16. gonna suck with no car here for the next few days cuz i wont dare drive my parents. mom was against getting me the car but i begged and dad said i cant do that much damage to it.

My fiances dad bough his sister a vintage camaro for her 16th birthday and she flipped it the next day and it was totaled. You are not the first. Heck, I flipped my first car in exactly the same way (on ice) and it was totaled and that was 3 months after I got it. >_<

Are your friends also friends with your girlfriend? Because if so, I would definitely be careful, I wouldn't want them spreading rumors or anything to her, not to talk badly about your friends, but I work with high school kids, I know how they can be.

oh that really sucks. at least i had it over a year. i guess insurance will pay everything but his rates might go up or something. i already got calls from the other peoples insurance asking what happened. i said it was my fault which i guess was a bad idea.

Just stuff like saying your smoking or drinking when your not or god-forbid seeing other girls or other just plain stupid stuff. I'm not saying not to trust your friends, but just be careful. Don't just mistrust your friends, but you don't want them interfering with something as important as this, either.

oh i would hope they wouldnt do that. i worked to hard at this now for them to ruin it on me. they havent been the most helpful during this. its how i found this place cuz they werent any help and parents were away so had no one to ask.

Eh, people will get over it. I've been on here since 2008, when I was pregnant with my son - you can't take anyone on here too seriously. Some of the women on here act like 12 year olds, it's ridiculous, but it's just the internet. In the end, it is a very good place to ask questions and gather information. There are some very well educated people on here that come from all walks of life, you get all kinds of views and opinions from all types of people, which I find refreshing and very important for something as subjective as parenting where there isn't just one right way to do things. The pregnancy section is really wonderful - I'm not even a new mom and I still find myself in there asking questions or looking for information. I wouldn't have stuck around for so long if it was crappy - besides, everyone posts stupid things at one point or another, people get over it.
