I'm actually glad u went and were with her when she told them... give her time, if she wants to keep baby, let her... u have at least 30 weeks to warm up to the idea, and get ur smurf together.... wether that means u stay with her and have the baby together, or u support the baby finacially untill she finds some1 to help her take care of the baby and u let them go now...

Well it sounds like she wants to keep it. So why don't you use that money to help her get things for the baby?

Crib is 300, pack n play is 200, crib mattress is 50, changing table 200-300, stroller/carseat is 200-300, baby swing is 100-200, bouncer 100-200, clothes can cost hundreds, diapers, wipes, burp rags, bibs, bottles, nukkies, toys, shampoo, body lotion, oil, nose sucker, baby first aid kit, baby nail clippers, destin (for diaper rash), baby powder, vasilene.

I'm pretty sure I have a couple thousand dollars worth of stuff in the babies room and that's for things I need. Not just stuff I want him to have like toys. My friend spent 200 for diapers, 6 bottles, prenatal vitamins, a couple bibs, 3 outfits. She said the diapers alone were 80, she got a couple of big packs though.

If she wants to keep it, I think you should support her, seeing you are the father, you've been together for 2 years. So instead of being a dick to her, help her go to the store and go shopping! Especially since you said you want to do the right thing.

Sounds like it ended well to me. Everything that girls dad said is the truth, you need to figure out what you want to do, and quickly. Depending on how your girlfriend feels towards you, you possibly have 31 [if she is 9 weeks like you said in your earlier post, and depending on when the baby decides he/she is ready to come] to figure it out but if she decides she's done with your ass before you come to a decision, your smurf out of luck so you may want to think quickly.

I only named a few things, there are tons of things you need. Not to meantion you need a lot of a few items. Diapers and wipes and bath soap you run out of and need to keep buying more. If she plans to breastfeed she'll need a breastbump $100-200, she's gonna need maternity clothes (one of my maternity shirts cost 30, I got it for 20 on sale. They aren't cheap!), she's gonna need nursing bras and nursing pads so her milk doesn't leak through her clothes.

You should start doing some research! You obviously have a computer! Go to google and just type in baby and see what comes up! Also you and her should look into prenatal and parenting classes!

If you honestly want to do the right thing, start now! With research and help her get things for your child!

well and him being 17 he has jobs but we're not sure of his income.... there are people that will help and resources where this girl can get all of this for FREE.... she'll get a lot of stuff at her baby shower and different churches and job and family services can help out A LOT... there are pregnancy services out there that also have a lot of stuff that she will need..... also she can sign on to WIC, they will give her a breast pump, or if she decides to do formula they will give it to her every month!!!! sooo no worries and no excuses!!!
