Unfortunately the laws aren't on your side in this case. Men don't have AFTER a pregnancy is concieved to decide if they want a child now or not. They have to decide before they have sex. Yes, she can keep it. You don't have to stay with her but she can come after you for child support regardless.

Honestly, it's a tough and unfair spot to be in. All you can do is support her regardless. When it comes right down to it YOU had sex YOU are having a baby YOU need to suck it up, be a man, and take care of YOUR child. Because, point blank, the onous of responsibility is on you.

It is her choice. You can simply pay child support without being in a relationship with mother nor child. If mother finds someone else and gets married you can then sign away your rights and that man can adopt the child.

Fair is both people dealing with the consequences of their own actions. Just happens to be that pregnancy is a consequence of sex. What happens next should be a decision between the two of you but what isn't fair is forcing her to give up a baby if she doesn't want to.
