how much should I thaw out?

Im going to the movies tomorrow night for my bday and my 3 week old is going to be staying with DH. Hes only been BF so far and I have been pumping whenever im engorged so I have a bunch of BM stored. How much should my hubby feed him if he starts crying? I plan to feed him before I leave but just in case he wakes up id like my DH to be prepared. Any help would be appreciated!

You don't need to thaw it. He can run it under warm water when it's needed.

Yeah, don't thaw it, but I would do 4 ounces for every 2 hours your gone, maybe? How often and how much does she eat?

I'd thaw like 2 oz. At that age, my daughter was only having 2oz max when bottle feeding. At 3 months, she still only has 3oz or so each feeding. BM thaws out SO quickly if you put it in warm water, so if he needs more, he can thaw it out. But I know every baby is different.

a 3 week old probably only eats about 2 ounces every 2 hours. Maybe 3 max.
