A little late but looks like "skeeter syndrome"

Just a localized allergic reaction to the bites. She is actually allerhic to a product in the mosquitos saliva.

Both of my kids have this. If the get bit on a small area (ear, finger) the whole area swells. If they get bit on a larger spot (arm, leg) the bite gets larger, red, and very hard like a pimple. I think it itches them more because they scratch like crazy and I have to constantly bug them to stop!

Also if they get bit by their eye or on the forehead their poor eye swells shut!

It goes away in a couple days. But I try to dose mine with "bullfrog mosquito coast" before they go out at all. It is a bug spray/sunscreen and is deet free so safe for all ages. It is the only thing I have found that works!
