I do the same thing with the ornaments   Although I try to give them before Christmas so they can go on the tree. But DS is 4 and his ornaments are from things he has been into each year. His first Christmas is one with a pic of us, his second Christmas is a snow globe, and his third is a train, his fourth is a Grinch, and this year I will get him a Batman.

I was off all this week from work so I figured I'd put my trees out now while I'm not exhausted from working through the holidays. Very busy week coming up at work being Turkey day and all.

I changed things up a bit this year and put two trees out. I have my traditional Gingerbread tree (my fave) and a Santa tree.

my family always did that too. When I got married.. my mom gave me a box with all my ornaments so I could start my own tree. I love all the memories it brings! the kids love getting their ornaments every year... and I love listening to all the "hey.. do you remember this one! you got it when you were 5.. No.. I was 4.. remmeber?"

This was last years(don't put our tree up till Dec 1)but we do it the same every year.

Last year was our first tree. We bought an artificial with the lights already on it. Ours was blue and silver, and will be until we get sick of it lol

This is our tree, it's very small... but it's just temporary until we start our first "family" tradition this year with letting the kids pick out a real tree. We couldn't resist any longer and wanted to start decorating.

i love your tree!! but we have a fake tree   its a white one and i do it different every year. i have a box filled with alot of different decorations. I always do rainbow lights though, i just think it looks better on the white tree....

our apartment isnt huge and i feel like if we had a big tree id feel cramped. not sure where i would put it since we have so much furniture in our living room.so, we got cameron his own mini tree for his room last year

cameron has a big tree over at his nana and papas though (older pictures)

well, this time of year is a jumble of celebration in my house. In order for me to not feel overwhelmed, I have to separate them.

My son's bday is Halloween, My bday is Nov 4th, then TG, then My husband's bday on Dec 18th and then Xmas and then New years.

I need to breath sometime in there.
