How to keep my baby's socks on his feet?!?

posted 18th Nov
Anyone have suggestions for how to keep socks on my baby's feet? It wasn't that worrisome in the summertime when he kept pulling his socks off, but the weather is colder now and he still pulling them off. I tried Socks On and didn't love them - a bit too tight for him, and just one more thing to put on and take off. Anything else out there?

Wouldnt recommend it for every day, but when LO was like 6 months we were going somewhere & she kept kicking her shoes off so I stitched them to the back of her pants leg. You could try diaper pins (on the back so he cant get ahold)

Or footie pjs

We got these things called "Sock-Ons". They go over the sock so attempt to hold it in place. It works a whole hell of a lot better than just the sock, but we still have to replace it a couple times a day (but that's better than every 5 minutes like it was before).

Footsie sleepers. Or slippers (like Robees or the Circo brand ones from Target, with elastic on the ankle)

I accidentally posted the same question twice, so I'll add this response in both. I found a solution that seems to work great. My neighbor loaned me a product called Kindergarters. It's a band that wraps around Danny's sock and keeps it in place. He wore them all day long and never got his socks off! It's not elastic so I don't really understand how it stays on, but it does. The website says they'll work on mittens too. I ordered some online today - www.kindergarters.com - and I'll have to hide from my neighbor until they arrive lol. I ordered a bunch cause they're cheap and they'll make cute stocking stuffers (no pun intended) for my mommy friends.
