1 Year Vaccines/Selective Vaccines

DS has his 1 year check-up tomorrow, which means shots. I have already talked to his Dr. about delaying the MMR. I have now decided I do not want the chicken pox vaccine, its not required with the schools is it?

What Vaccines did you delay at 1 year/if any.
Is there any site for selective vaccinating?

I don't do chicken pox or flu. Some states probably require it. But Michigan is easy on vaxing so I never worried about it. I just sign a waiver. No dr required. Idk about where u live though.

chickenpox is most definatly required for school

NO vaccines are required for school. There are exemption forms for every state

Kansas public schools require the chickenpox vaccine.

In every state (except MS and WV where only medical exemptions are available) you can get an exemption from vaccines period so selectively vaccinating is usually not a problem. Just file an exemption in lieu of a vaccination record when the time comes.
