Your due the same day as me and are having a boy too!   congrats and cute name we are naming our boy Cameron Isaiah. Are you feeling movement? I just started to but hes really low im not sure why lol

Im very curious abt breastfeeding and plan to do so with my son .... Anyone else done it before? How is it? Tips plz

Hi and congratulations on your boy. I am pregnant with my 7th child. My children range from 14-1 year old. Due May 1st with this one. Well, I have exclusively breastfed all my children. I really encourage you to give it a try! Its not necessarily easy at first. It takes a little work and practice to get things just right. You have to learn how to latch your baby on right, the baby has to learn to latch on right too. If you have a baby who is less than patient, it makes it a little more difficult too. Baby will want to open and close quickly. You may get very sore due to a bad latch while you learn....However, once you get past that learning curve its great! The bond you will experience will be wonderful. The pride you will have that you work through it and accomplished what you wanted to do will be irreplaceable. Its convenient (always available) and free. Your baby benefits and so do you.

I encourage you to ask your OB dr about breastfeeding info classes. They are so readily available these days. Taking one before your baby arrives you give you confidence before you have the baby. Make sure you use the lacation consultant at the hospital to help you. And even once you go home with baby, use the lactation consultant then too.

should your Dr not know of breastfeeding classes then call your hospital. Also, you can check with your local WIC office. I believe they often have lacation consultants.

Thank you so much your very sweet! I think its beautiful the more children women have its such a miracle each time. This is my third one and im already thinking of abt 2 yrs down the line having another. I was always curious about breastfeeding but had so many concerns that i was always nervous. How long does your milk last after you begin? Does your body keep producing milk? Im nervous about the pain as well due to your breasts already being swollen and sore? Ill have to ask my obgyn i just relocated to IN and i have insurance out of KY im hoping they will still see me and just bill my insurance company because im about a week behind on appts. But i definitely plan to research classes and such i just wanted a mommas personal experience on it

it's going to be a surprise! i wonder if there is any way you can figure it out without figuring it out! im getting anxious!

Found out at 15w 3d I was having a boy due April 24th. Can't wait to meet my lil Giovanni.

We were hoping for a girl but we are having a 3rd boy. Nathan Alexander due on 4/10. Can't wait to meet him!

Anatomy scan on the 15th showed a baby girl!!! So excited!! Our son knew the whole time, it's creepy that he was right. He didn't just guess, he was adamant that this baby was a girl. Refused to listen to us when we tried to explain that it might be a boy. We're so excited to have 1 of each!!  

I found out 16w 5days, I am having a Girl!!

two more days and I find out!!! ahh I'm starting to get excited, but of course these next two days will drag by lol.

found out at 15 weeks that i'm having a girl! and was confirmed at 18 week doctors appointment. This will be the second girl and very close to the same age im very excited even though my husband wanted a boy

I think breastfeeding is the best thing you can do for your baby... i think the biggest tip i can give you is dont give up! lol the first two weeks maybe 3 hurt really bad but after that it doesnt hurt at all. I used those gel pads they sell at target in the nursing section over my nipples they helped alot. also my daughter was not a easy eater at all! she would come on and off my nipple while eating several times, its actually really tiring when you just have a baby and your body is trying to heal and your trying to get them to eat. but you just have to keep at it, i learned from my nursing class to aim your nipple towards the roof of the babys mouth. I'm hoping my next one will latch on easier because that was probably the hardest thing!
