Ugh, some people are just straight out ignorant...

So a girl I have grew up with is on my FB, her baby is like a month and a half old and she took a pic feeding the baby hummus....wtf?! 0.o

Yes I know it isn't my business but that is just stupid as hell to feed a 1 1/2 month old hummus....

Id feel the same way... wow i wonder y shes feeding that to a baby

Yea exactly, smfh. Her child is going to have stomach issues if she keeps doing stupid smurf like that. Like hummus? WTF?! A lot of it has garlic and other smurf in it.

Hummus is amazing.

(Ground chickpeas, sesame seed oil, garlic, lemon and other flavors if desired).


But not for a 1 month old.

Just say its not a good idea to feed your baby solids until he/DH is six months old at least because their tummys can't handle it and it can make them really sick

She might delete you from FB. Honestly though, a lot of people introduce solids at a month or two old. And if she's being encouraged by an elder in her family, might not listen. Or care what you have to say. I'm sure she knows it's not a good idea. And hopefully just gave her a taste.

BTW hummus is really good for you if you make it yourself, and I used to not like it, but homemade is mighty tasty.
