DD was born at 37&4. She wore preemie for about 3 weeks and NB for prob 6-8 weeks. She's 7 months and still wears mostly 0-3 and some 3-6

Everyone told me not to buy newborn clothes..I hardly had any--he was born at 39 weeks 6lbs 3oz and was in newborn for 6 weeks (Still fit in them, but I was tired of the selection and wanted to put him in all the cute 0-3 I had). I had to go out 3 days after he was born and buy a ton of newborn sleepers.

She had a birth defect and surgery at 4 days old. She's doing OK now (turned 4 in Oct and you'd have no clue what she's been thru just looking at her)

13 is too many?? I had like 20 for my daughters and they used them often. I don't think 13 is too many at all.

It really depends on how big the baby is.. my daughter was over 8 pounds when she was born and barely wore newborn size for a week. lol

I don't think 13 is too many, either. Not enough IMO. I got sick of doing laundry everyday while being super sleep deprived. I had about 6 and it was really annoying washing all the time. My daughter weighed 9.1 and wore NB sleepers for a month and a half.

Yeah my 8lb 5oz daughter did too. lol. Especially as NBs and them spitting up all the time or blowing out their diapers...you go through them fast!

Exactly. DD spit up ALL the time.   Next time I have a baby I'm stocking up on NB sleepers!

My baby was born at 40 weeks and was 6lbs 15oz and has fit in newborn clothes up until the last couple days and she is growing fast! 0-3 month clothes are still a little big but it all depends on the brand to. Some newborn clothes are smaller or bigger then other brands! 0-3 months might be a better purchase because they can wear them longer, it might just be a little big at first. Maybe buy one newborn outfit for your baby to come home in.
