re: school and religion

You chose your religion. If you were born with zero influence or it didn't exist, there is a possibility that you wouldn't be. I would have still been born white.

And yes - you can say I am bitter to an extent. It also amuses me greatly that there are Christians who view themselves as victims.

So what if you don't like the actual belief system? I dislike Christianity in general, not necessarily all the people who practice it, but the belief system itself.

You are also vengeful. I don't tend to be amused by anyone's suffering, unhappiness or despair.

Christians (mostly) are murdered at the hands of people around the globe. Systematically murdered for simply believing.

You seem to turn a blind eye to that.

We've all been a victim at some point. Some of us don't make it our life's mission to be bitter about it.

Yes, I am so vengeful - I go out every day and victimize Christians and tell them how wrong they are and how much I hate them. You are so right.  
I actually work for a faith based company on the weekends and they have no idea how I feel and I don't let my feelings ever effect how I interact with people, but this is D&D - I'm going to tell how I feel.

It's not "mostly" Christians, it's "mostly" people who have any sort of belief system, I never said it was right, I don't believe in killing people, ever, even if I don't agree with how they believe or live their life. But I wasn't referring to the rest of the world, I am talking about here in the US since we are discussing laws and what they allow and what they don't.

And again - if you lost your partner and mother of your children due to other people's belief system then maybe you WOULD be bitter, but I highly doubt you have ever been through losing a spouse, so you wouldn't know or understand.

I know what it is like to hurt and I'm sorry that you are hurting. I really, truly am.

Ok, if you understand how I am feeling, then you can understand why I am so bitter. I have a very good reason to be.

the way you worded it is that associating yourself with chriatains will get you in trouble. Thats not the case. Not every Christian is bad. I associate with Christians all the time and dont get in trouble. There are "bad applea" in every religion and non religion. That doesnt make the whole religion bad. It makes those "bad apples" bad. that goes for every group and religion in life.

Not really, you had people in power who used religion as a means to stay in power. They would have done they absent of religion as well.

That's pretty horrible that they would suspend a KID for praying. I prayed in school all the time,- I'd just do it silently, and close my eyes- teachers knew, but it was never an issue because I kept it to myself.

I think kids should be allowed to pray ON THEIR OWN at school, but it should never be led by the school. Also "under God" wasn't added to the pledge until the 1950s. It needs to be taken out. I'm an atheist and it pisses me off.

Pastafarianism is actually atheism. It's a made up religion made to mock all other religions.
