re: Delivery options.

I was scared to death, and still am, about a vaginal delivery. Crazy rihht. I had a very slim chance at vaginal first time around but didnt happen. Im not one of those that gets all crazy saying a c-section is stupid versus vaginal. There r things that can go wrong in both. Getting a 6" scar versus tearing on my vag, ill take the scar. I dont think its selfish, stupid or irresponsible to make the choice that is less terrifying for u. Yes vaginal deliver is natural but not always the best option. A doctor is not going to do a c-section, usually, unless there is a good reason. I dont even have a choice in the matter this time around and im perfectly fine with that. Im not scared of having a c-section and im definitly not stupid as others in this thread have stated. If not for medical intervention we wouldnt have alot of life saving medicines and procedures. I see c-sections as one of those life saving procedures that keep women and their babies alive, not something u should be put down over.

I dont know about the UK but here u r cut about 6" just above ur pelvic bone not vertical like in the past, about 30+ yrs ago. Its not that bad. Im having a c-section and then turning around 6wks later and having a hystorectomy.

Yes thats the same. The other one that Ravey Candyass that said ur cut right up the middle made it sound like they open u like gutting a fish! I had to stay in labor, hard labor, for 14hrs because they had to put 5different antibiotics in me because of a uterin infection. And yes getting the c-section at that point was heaven. Im really not worried this time around. I dont understand all the negativity being aimed at ppl having c-sections. Natural isnt always whats best. If u dont mind im gonna parent tank u. U know i grew up with friends born and raind in England(im not sure on the difference between UK and England, please excuse my laxk of knowledge). I loved listening to them talk, they came to the US after regular school so like 9th grade i think. Anyways i loved alot of the things they did different. Its amazing how different and yet alike two cultures can be.
