What would you do?

Ok, so my husband was trying to find a song that I've been looking for. He has a Twitter so he went and followed the artist and asked him how to find it. Well this morning I went on there to see if he answered and it showed everything that he messaged people. There was a model on there he is following and he sent her the tweet "You have to be the hottest woman on the planet"....really?! The planet?! Unless I live on Mars he means hotter than me too, right?! Well I asked him about it and ended up getting emotional and I started crying and asked him how could he put that. He said, "Not as hot as you though" to which I said "That's not what you said". He was getting ready for work, and he kept saying "well I guess I'm leaving early" and couldn't understand why I was so upset!! My question, AM I overreacting? Would you all be this upset too or am I just freaking out over nothing?

I'm an emotional wreck, so it would bother me. But keep in mind, it isn't anyone he actually knows. I think Norman Reedus is hellasexy haha and can make comments, but it isn't like I'm going to run away with him. SO thinks Miranda Cosgrove is gorgeous. But it isn't like he is going to go off with her either.

I would be more concerned if it was someone he actually knew.

Yeah I kind of thought that at first but at the same time I have a huge list of celebs that I think it hot too but I would never say the were the hottest on the planet. In my eyes, my husband is, ya know? Idk, it just really bothers me...model or not...

Thanks for all of your inputs....I know he loves me and all, he's just never said that before. I always thought he thought I was the hottest on the planet...idk I guess it was jealousy and hormones talking....It is that time of the month lol

I think what matters is that you were hurt by it and he didn't acknowledge or validate your feelings.

I think you're taking it a little too personally. Comments could be made, but that doesn't mean he thinks she's "hotter" than you. You just don't tell a model that she's second best to his wife. It seems silly.

I can't say much, because I know I'm far from "hot"...so I dunno how I'd feel. If I was a sexy bitch, then maybe I'd be more upset...idk. Just relax   Men are idiots. haha

It would hurt my feelings but I'd try not to get too upset. Like someone else said, he doesn't know her. I know my SO thinks Katy Perry is super hot but until she comes to the UP I don't feel like I should worry lol. Just like there are movie starts I think are hot; SO knows that- he always harasses me during Twilight movies about me liking Taylor Lautner haha.

Yeah, I just feel maybe he shouldn't have said anything to her at all...it don't bother me that he followed her, it bothers me that he said that to her. What was the point of saying anything to her at all? Her being followed should have been enough, ya know?

Yeah he just got mad, he didn't even seem to care that I was upset by it. That made me angrier.
