my Dr refused..

Are you sm*rfing serious? My doctor said on Thursday that I might need a d&c and I was up all last night in extreme pain. I called the on call Dr this morning and told them what the other Dr had said and whats going on with me now. He said they wont do a d&c unless its a real emergency. Ive been doing this for over 2 Weeks! There is still A LOT of debris and my cervix is sm*rfing closed! Im exhausted physically and emotionally. I dont want to do this any more and I cant start to heal knowing pieces of my baby are still inside me. And all my sm*rfing doctors can do is pump me full of pain meds and tell me to wait it out and even if I want a damn d&c because im REALLY sick and tired of going through this they wont do it? Im calling another doctor tomorrow morning and getting a second opinion. Im done. My body isnt doing this smurf and im not going to hurt like hell for God knows how long just because the damn doctors dont WANT to do a d&c. I cant even play with my kids and havent been able to since this started. Getting a second opinion tomorrow. Im pissed.

Go to the doc who said yes. Do you have a fever? If so, go to the ER and they will set you one up.

Call back and push for it. Usually by now they've done a d&c

my temp has been 99.8 but my Dr says thats not a fever. I have to have a temp of 101 before they will do it.

That's a low grade fever. Do you have nausea and vomiting?

I'd probably go to the ER and saying I was puking, lightheaded, and been spiking a fever on and off.

Ive been asking for one for a week. I call every day at least 3 times a day.. This practice just sucks and is full of idiots.

Ive had all of that except the spiking fever. It stays at 99.8

Well, you are displaying signs of infections.

Any shortness of breath? Rapid sudden heartbeat or breathing?

No breathing issues but on and off I can feel my heart beating really hard and pretty fast. It feels like its going to pop out of my chest but then right when it gets real bad it goes away.

You are in a situation where you are set up for sepsis.

YOu have signs of infection, and you can't pass the baby.

Honestly, go to the ER. Tell them you are closed and can't pass it and have taken meds twice. Tell them you have an off and on fever staying low grade, dizziness, vomiting, and rapid pulse.

I am honestly worried for you, since you have symptoms of infection and being jerked so many directions. Puking to me is one of the first signs, as well as low grade fever. The ER is more likely to do something out of fear of infection.

Has your ob even done blood work?
