posted 18th Nov
Been in pain for two months now on n off. Except for the past week I have been in pain almost everyday. I have an obgyn apt tomorrow. Do you think at 16 weeks they will order bed rest?

I guess it would depend on WHY you're having pain, as to whether they put you on bedrest.... what kind of pain are you having?

I had to have an emergency c section with my son. And for two months now its been feeling like cramping some days and stabing throbbing pains other days. But the past week has been pain all over my belly all at the same time no bleeding. My lower abdomon right now is a low dull throbbing pain. Some days it makes me double over in tears it hurts so bad. Has me and the hubby worried.

could it possibly just be round ligament pain? it could be hurting you worse with a pervious c section from all those muscles stretching. if you haven't had bleeding they might not put you on bed rest but definitely take it easy.

I just made it past where you are right now. I hurt for a while as well. Im just now 18 weeks and I finally feel somewhat normal these days. I would try not to worry so much until your doctor gives you a reason too. Its different for everyone.

I know with my son I had zero pain even in my back. With this lil one the pain seems to scream at me. Even my lower back is killing me. I hope its just that the muscles are stretching and I'm just feeling the pain because of the scar tissue. It even has my mom worried. I can feel my lil one moven and kicking. Big babys run in my husbands family along with mine. But this scares me because I have trouble getting out of bed off the couch standing for longer periods of time then 20mins. Its all just scarry to me. I am glad I'm not bleeding. Just want this pain to end

I wonder if what Andrea said about the Cesarian is true. It seems more plausible. You do have scar tissue from where they cut into your uterus, into your abdominal cavity and through your skin. I sincerely hope it is from the C-Section--the pain from the stretching of healed tissue--than serious complications.

I hope the best for you and since being on this site, I have found EVERY one person's pregnancy is different--including with one person on multiple pregnancies.

I'm worried because when I went into labor with my son we almost didn't make it. I was in full blown labor no dialation and my qatter wouldn't break. That was the only complication I had with my son. Now this and it has me scared. Seen several of my friends put on bed rest and go into early labor when pains hit like this. 4 months is way to early for my lil one to make an apperance in this world.

as long as your stomach isn't getting tight i wouldn't be to worried about pre term labor just yet.You have a lot of options if it did happen and i'm sure they would be able to stop it.

Thanks. My lil one just kicked so I know he / she is moving again. The only part of my belly that is in any wauly harder then usual. Is where my c section is and below it and a few centameters above it. I just hope I am ok and that I will cintinue to be ok. I feel I worrie a lil too much just when my mom and husband also worrie it scares me alot more then If I was the only one warring

Hopefully your dr figures out what's going on. To me it sounds like what happened when i was pregnant with my middle baby. I had horrible cramping/pain when i was pregnant with him in the beginning. I chalked it up to him breaking up the c-section scar tissue. As far as contractions and stuff, they can treat it early if you have a history of it. With my last pregnancy, i was treated for contractions/dilation as early as 12 weeks. Obviously that's an extreme case, but I did end up making it full term.

It could just be stretching.. Do you feel this sharp pain when you're walking, sitting, or both?
