How do you know that that girl wasn't on BC and it failed?

The instances of women using it as BC is extremely low.

Each party has the right to express themselves (pro-life or pro-choice), I belive that they should not be pressurizing and emotionally blackmailing. That will not help anyone.

Yes abortion is a form of birth control. It stops birth from happening.

I think stopping abortion would cause a lot of harm. as many young girls that have unwanted babies & kill them or leave them on the side walk now that number would probably quadruple. There is also rape and simply women who get pregnant who aren't ready mentally or financialy. Think about the stories we hear about child abuse now I'd imagine it would only get worst. But I also don't approved of people using them as birth control.

I wouldn't assume it if she didn't say that she was having unprotected sex. I never assume anything like that with people, but when they know they are at risk to get pregnant and still take that chance and then if they dont like it they can just get an abortion...? thats wrong. but thats also my personal opinion.

Not all people are stupid that wantabortions. And if you bring up that they cando adoption, do you know how many kids are in the system because the adoptive parents want perfect babies [majority of white babies also].

Of course its a form of birth control ... it stops birth doesn't it? What I think you mean is its not a form of pregnancy control like condoms and the pill (though some pills don't stop pregnancy just cause an abortion within the first couple of days)

For one, I didn't say people who wanted abortions are stupid. I simply said, "IMO.. no its not, it's suppose to be used for actually problem situations.. Not because your dumb, and don't use or get protection." anyone who doesn't want kids but doesn't use protection is a little dumb, sorry. and two I didn't leave it at just rape and health problems, I'm sure there are plenty other situations where someone needs the abortion thats why i put "etc." & three, yes I do know how many are in the system because I use to be in the system along with my husband and his siblings and I know plenty of friends who were as well, I also work with some foster kids. But I guess I'm not understanding where you're going with the whole adoption thing.... I know it's an option but why make a decision between abortion and adoption if you can avoid it by using BC if you don't want kids to begin with?

Yeah that is what I mean i guess i didnt say it right, but I kind of thought saying BC anyone would think of pills, condoms, any type of portection to prevent unwanted pregnancy.

Plan B and lower dose hormonal pills (as well as non-hormonal uterine implants) all by definition cause abortion, in that they either prevent an already fertilized ovum or a zygote implanting or forces the implantation to fail.
