Son won't sleep in his crib. HELP

posted 18th Nov
My 7 month old won't sleep in his crib for anything. It only started four days ago. He would sleep perfectly fine all night from 6:30pm-5:30am and I have no idea why he all of a sudden refuses. He still goes down at 6:30pm in his crib but is up and hour later refusing to sleep in there and if he does fall back asleep (by holding my hand) he is up in 30 min screaming like he is being attacked. The only thing I can think of is for him to fall asleep, we put him in our bed and he holds my face the whole time he sleeps. (He has done this for 4 months now so it is nothing new) Any advice would be great because I am at a lose for words.

I co-slept with LO until we got a crib which was about 9 months. I have to put LO to sleep by rubbing his back, he doesn't fall asleep on his own. Could he be teething? When LO has rough nights of waking up its usually his teeth bothering him. LO has a lot of wake ups if he's teeth are cutting...I think if he wakes up just from rolling around and stuff he can't fall back asleep on his own because his teeth hurt, and he can't get comfortable enough to just fade back to sleep.

If he's not teething, maybe its a phase.

Ok thank you. He doesn't have any teeth yet but I am sure they are on their way. I hope it is just a phase because he will sleep in my bed no problem as long as he has a hold of my face lol. Thank you. I will probably keep him in my bed a couple of nights and try again.

Yeah, even if they're not cutting they could be throbbing and causing an annoyance, KWIM? Putting him in your bed will save you some trouble. I put LO to sleep in our bed and move him to the crib (which is in our room) once he's knocked out.
