W.I.C question

Does WIC give similac advance or no? I know they give Gerber but that's all I know.

I just googled it and it looks like they do..

"WIC provides the Ross line of standard milk-based and soy-based iron fortified formulas, which are Similac Advance, Isomil Advance and Similac Sensitive. Maryland WIC will not provide other standard milk-based and soy-based formulas (such as Enfamil Lipil, Enfamil Lactofree Lipil, GentLease Lipil, Prosobee Lipil, Good Start Supreme and Good Start Supreme Soy)."

Thanks I appreciate it. Just in case this breast feeding isn't working. Im trying but there so sore because she latched wrong so hospital had me give her similac.

I think it depends on the state.

WIC also offers lactation consultants! You should look into it.

This! Here in colo they only give you enfameil unless you have a dr order for something different

I wish I was there. Aiden seemed to like the Enfamil a lot better, but OK doesn't offer it on WIC.

They do in TX but alot of states are different.

it depends, i had wic in ohio and we got similac.

i know other stats have enfamil and stuff

i know here they only give good start unless you get a note from the doctors saying the baby has to be on a special formula but everywhere is different

It depends on the state. Some states have specific brands they provide. Illinios' state approved formula is Enfamil.

in NH its enfimil

In Cali they give Enfamil and my son needed Similac but when we moved to Texas they give Similac.
