Yes I got the names mixed up while reading the first part and then "Mary's oldest child, 3 year-old twin girls, and now a young infant. " I thought they were talking about the 10 year old having 3 year old twin girls.. I read it wrong there wasn't any reason to be snippy and if you had read my comment a few spots above yours you would know I realized I had made a mistake.

IF if went down the way I thought it did when I first read it, they wouldn't have gotten her back is what I was obviously saying. (as in if she had gotten pregnant while living there they wouldn't allow her to go back there) Obviously you misread what I wrote as well.

I wasn't snippy at all. I said nicely that you should re-read the story and then explained it to you briefly. As far as me seeing your comment above mine apparently my computer is running a tad slow because it wasn't there when I typed what I had. No big deal really, I just thought maybe you would understand the story a little better if you had a chance to go back and re-read it as it was a little confusing.

My grandmother started her period at 8 and ended up being sexually abused and impregnanted. She was only 9 when her first child was born. My great grandma raised the baby as my grandmothers sister. Since back then it was so uncommon and way more frowned upon, to have children and be unwed.

I feel sorry for this little girl for the bad.experiences she has had in life at suuch a young age, and I hope that this does not affect the way the baby is raised in any way shape or form.

I will keep this family in my prayers.

I was kind of thrown off by the requested "carseat cover". I didn't even get one until recently   They are so damn pricey and not necessary.

My parents say it's because the news didn't publish these horrific stories back in the day. But I think they are idiots and just oblivious to the fact that this world is deteorating rapidly.

i used to live in one of the safest countries....its still in the top, yet we have some murders...rapings...etc... its scary

I have never asked. She doesnt like to talk about it, and still to this day calls her daughter, her sister, to those that don't know what really happened.

What I don't understand is how the little girl was in the system that long. After a certain amount of time they revoke parent rights and the child would be up for adoption. Although I guess that is still possible and no one had adopted her yet, but 4 years at one home, and about 3 years at another home is a long time to be in foster care.

Actually your parents are right. We have 24 hour news now a days. They HAVE to fill it with something, and unfortunately people want to hear the nastey nitty gritty details of murders, rapes, etc, more than they want to hear about the father who rescued his baby from drowning.

Terrible, disgusting, horrible things have always happened. History is full of dark and terrifying things that would indicate this world is "going to hell".

We're just as smurfed up as we were 200 years ago, you just hear about it more now. ;)
