Should've blocked her when you did the delete.

I would just tell her the truth, that what she did hurt you, and you would feel more comfortable not being friends on social sites.

Yeah I did initially. But then I realized all the other FIL that I didn't delete and she could easily find out that I deleted AND blocked her. That would have been harder to explain.

Yeah that seems right. The issue is that me and DH share a Skype account and I kind of snooped to figure it out.   I don't think it is snooping since we share it, but it is a little shady. KWIM? I want to tell DH that I saw the messages. I am not sure how to bring that up either   Ugh... I suck right now.

You share an account, if he's stupid enough to leave incriminating messages, thats his fault. Just tell him you got on to do something and saw them, easy as that.

Bwahahah just delete and block em all. I literally did it with all dh's family so if they ever ask I just say I don't use it anymore. My life is much easier now, Facebook and family isn't always easy

I would talk to him first. If you share the account, I can't see how he'd be mad if he's reasonable. He might be upset that you saw it out of embarrassment, but it's not like you were going through his phone. Does he know you deleted her on Facebook? I'd probably mention that that's why you're bringing it up.
And then I would just tell her the truth, too. I'm sure it'd piss her off, but she was being a douche and it's not like there's an easy way to say it anyway.

The only social media account that I use other than this one is Facebook. I have my mother on my "restricted" list. That way she still shows as being on my friends list, but she can't see what I post and such.

I told him that I deleted her because she wasn't my friend. He bought it   I am pretty sure he knows, but I don't want to make him upset. I think I will tell him tonight. I don't think what I did was snooping but I'd be irritated if he looked up private messages that I have with my Mom on Skype.
You put it perfect though, she was being a total douche. he never said anything negative about me and she would just bring smurf up... grrrrr... if things go well with me telling DH, I may just tell her that me and the hubs share a Skype account
