Getting pregnant, DEPO SHOT.

Hello ladies  

My question is, if you were on the depo shot...
How long did it take for you to get pregnant?
It's been exactly 3 months since my last shot, and I'm not
Getting another one since me and hubby are TTC.

I was off it for about a year before I got pregnant

Got My last shot in February of '10
Got pregnant march of '11
We weren't using any protection at all the whole time.

I hear the usual is 6-12 months to get pregnant after being on the shot.

About a year it takes to be fully out of your system

Once I got off, it took 3 months. Same when I stopped using the implanon too.

I had mine in January. Still not pregnant. :/

7 months. It takes 6 months for the shot to ware off.

I had been told it takes 6 mos to a year to get out of your system but i had been on the shot for 3 years after I had my son and it didn't take a month and I was pregnant everyone's different

t took me 2 years to fall pregant , i had alot of hormone problems caused by the depo. ill never get that again.

I only had one round of depo. I regret getting
It. We'll see how things turn out.

I got pregnant when i was on the depo shot so it just depends on how u react to it

It took us 9 months to conceive post-depo shot & I usually am very fertile and get pregnant very easily(got pregnant immediately after taking yaz oral contraceptive & after removing my nuva ring). We first had a miscarriage @ 7 weeks after TTC after the depo then got pregnant again a week later & here we are 18 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby GIRL! (= My doctor said it's normal to take up to a year to conceive after the depo shot.

I only took one round of it as well.

Depo is the worst type of birth control ever made. It can cause infertility. It messed me up pretty bad. I was on it for 4 years went off it to start a family, couldnt get pregnant. Because of depo I had to take fertility treatments and finally got pregnant. 3 years after stopping depo. Im currently 36+3 days pregnant. My doctor told me it could be up to a year before depo is out of your system. Hope it doesnt take that long for you
