Quoting Patricia Gonzales:" I am 35 weeks 5days & miserable.. everything is in pain & I have a sore throat & stuffy nose... I can't ... [snip!] ... her with castor oil (4yrs ago) but I'm not planning with this 1 because I want her to come naturally & not force her out.."
i'm not sure about encouraging labor to start but i do know that walking and sex will speed it up. i've been informed that hospital policy here is to labor at home until contractions are 5 minutes apart and then head to the hospital. and you better believe i'm gonna be walking constantly until they are!
I'm 36 weeks and i have days when i want her out but i'm just thinking about how fast time has gone and i know i'm gonna miss her little feet sliding across my belly. i'm due 2 days before you, we're almost there!
btw, just because you go over your due date doesn't mean you need to be induced. it's not an expiration date, it's an ESTIMATE. if you go a day over 40 weeks, who cares? let your doctor know that you wanna wait a little longer to give baby a chance to come on it's own
i won't be induced until 10 days overdue and i'm PRAYING that it doesn't come down to that.
