Is this wrong?

I have a 6 week old and 5&9 year old boys. I am breastfeeding my daughter and often do so in the room my boys are in. My mom keeps giving me a hard time about breast feeding in front of them and how it's disgusting. I don't see anything wrong with it. Am I wrong?

I see nothing wrong with it. Sounds like Mom has some hang ups.

You are NOT wrong at all. Boys need to see what the breast are made for anyways.

i don't think it's wrong. it's your life. tell your mom thanks for the "advice", but no thanks. don't let her make you feel like you are wrong if you really don't feel that it's wrong. you know?

No, nothing is wrong with that at all. It's the same as bottle feeding her in front of them. I'm sure you aren't flashing your boob or whatever. Don't worry about it mama, breastfeeding is a beautiful thing.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Have you explained to them what your doing? Just my opinion. Did you ask her why she thought it was a problem?

Not at all... Its what nature intended. It also exposes them to bf'ing so they know its normal & will be supportive if their wife breastfeeds.

Not wrong at all. You are showing them that's what breasts are for. You never know when you're influencing them. When they grow up, they'll be a supporting husband/SO.. and encourage the mother of their children to breast feed, too.

Breastfeeding is never wrong! It's a completely natural thing, you're feeding your baby, it's not like its sexual. I fully plan on breastfeeding in public, in front of strangers, so...I guess I must be gross, too.

You haven't done anything wrong. This is what breasts were designed to do, not just for sexual wants/needs. This is a normal healthy part of life.

my mom breastfeed all 7 of us & 4 of them were boys. they never seemed to mind or care. u are not wrong, its what your body was designed for.

I think it's terrible that your mom is telling you that doing such a natural thing in your own home is not appropriate.
