You're definitely not wrong. Some people are just ridiculous. I have relatives telling me that I "better not do that stuff" in front of my 2 1/2 year old when his brother gets here in a few weeks because it will confuse him. It's bullsmurf, especially since DS knows he used to breastfeed just a few months ago.
