I agree with you. A chemical pregnancy does not equal a miscarriage.

Double check please. Chemical pregnancies happen before the period comes on time. It's just not equivalent and many women will agree.

Then many women are wrong.

So... a blighted ovum isn't a m/c since it was never a baby?

Either way, I don't care. I can call what I want a loss. And many other women who went through a chemical would agree.

Well then I guess MANY women can agree to disagree because I've had both & don't consider both a loss. I'd have started my period either way.

Very true, but medically it's a miscarriage regardless.

I had a chemical and I had a m/c at around 12wks. Both hurt a lot emotionally. Both sucked equally.

That's you. Some people just don't consider both a "loss". I've only tired to be supportive on here, so anyways, glad your tests are still dark at night.

If both were the same, they wouldn't have different names.

You can call whatever you want a loss.. but i just don't agree with you, is all.

I know a woman who've walked around saying shes had four miscarriages but they were all chemical pregnancies from the time she was 17- 26.. Sorry, i don't consider hers a miscarriage.. She didn't go through what i went through when i actually miscarriaged, and her saying "ohhh i went through it, i know what it's like". Just irritates me because she didn't and she doesn't and thats the honest truth. So no they aren't both miscarriages. You get your period or you actually pass a baby... NOT even on the same level AT ALL.

A doctor would not even want to see you after a chemical.. Pretty much every woman could walk around saying they've had miscarriages then because most pregnancies END before they even know they're pregnant. "chemical pregnancy"

Now im unsubscribing... I hope your baby sticks!!! and you have a good pregnancy!
