So my and dh havedecided not to circumcise our son, and his brothers chewed my out including my sil. I am really irritated, like for one its not their kid and for two do your research before you tell me that I'm f***ing up his life by keeping him intact. Uggghhhh just so rude!

It's gonna happen. We get smurf for circumcising. We get smurf for not vaccinating. We get smurf for practicing attachment parenting. No one is going to fully like your way.

Don't listen to them mama. You are doing what is best for your child and you. I have people that say the same things to me all the time.

Just ignore it, my first it circumcised my second isn't. My sister actually had the nerves to ask if I had Diego circumcised and when I told her no she said "eww gross". I was pressured to get Alexander circumcised and I regret it.

Brush off their stupid remarks. More boys than not are intact nowadays.

eh F*them your son your choice, if other people want to worry about what your sons penis looks like then they just need to get a life. we had people give us smurf because we had it done, my son did not even cry when they did it (that was my only fear is that it would hurt him) but its your choice you are his mom and you know what is best for him

Seriously...pretty much anything you do with your kids is going to get bashed by someone who doesn't thing that's the "right" way.

All you can do is have your kids' best interest in mind and do research to make an educated decision.

Why do they even know what you chose to do with your son's penis in the first place? That's not information they need to be told. Just gives them more things to say smurf about, cos family likes to do that.

This! I get smurf for a lot of my parenting choices, especially not vaccinating. But IDGAF what anyone else thinks. My baby, my choices. We all do what we think is best for OUR child.

I know he's not my kid either....but he's lucky to have a Mama who researches well on her own and who sticks up for him <3 Idk what I would say to them...my mom tried making me feel horrid about it...she told me intact men look like dogs. I'm like how the smurf can your perception be so warped..men are created this way. I finally just told her look my fiance is intact so please don't say anything else to me about this especially in front of him. She was SO embarrassed and felt awful. My finances penis had nothing to do with why we chose to keep him intact tho...if he had been cut as a child our son would still be intact.

Yep taht same thing happend to me. My MIL said to my babys father "how can you do that, how would you feel if you had that on you" then my SO said "I guess I will never know" Then she told the whole family.

She only brought it up a few times saying things like your Dad and I agree that you need to have him circomcised.
