How early did you feel kicks?

posted 17th Nov
I am just asking because on another forum, women are claiming they felt flutters around 9, 10, 11, and 12 weeks....I am finding this very hard to believe...my theory is the second or third time around, women now know what to expect when looking out for the fluttering; therefore, every gas bubble they have, they mistake for movement....Hell, I am not pregnant now and I still feel "kicks"....

But I am no rocket scientist....thoughts?

With my first I felt nothing until 21 weeks and that was three little taps. Then nothing again until 25 weeks. With this one I felt bubbles at 9 weeks. I didn't believe it then I felt it again at 10 weeks and felt digestive bubbles and they were not in the same spot. So that's how I knew. But otherwise I wouldn't have known what it was.

When I was 9 weeks I could tell which side the baby was on. My doctor didn't believe me at first. He kept looking for the heartbeat in the middle and I told him the baby was way to the right and he finally found her over there. He was shocked. I felt flutters at 12 weeks. It's possible if you know your body well enough.

Don't make assumptions  I didn't feel anything with DD til 15/16 weeks. I am 13 weeks and I started feeling flutter a few days ago. NO they aren't gas bubble. Who are you to place judgement?

I am 10 weeks with my 6th pregnancy I can tell the difference between a flutter and gas bubble. And once I settle down at night and get comfortable on my left side ready to go too sleep since about last week there might be a flutter or 2. Its possible if the woman knows the difference and what to look for. I would suggest not being so judgmental with women in tune with their bodies and pregnancy symptoms.

The first time I felt my son I was 16 weeks. My doctor sent me to the ER because I started gushing blood and they made me wait for 6 hours before they called me back. While I was waiting thinking I was going to loose him, I felt a little bump in my stomach that I had never felt before. I knew it had to be him. I got a huge smile on my face and my husband asked me what was going on. I told him I felt the baby and I think it was his way of telling me he was ok in there.

I would suggest not getting offended over a question and simple skepticism...at least I am asking for feedback in search of those whose experiences differ from my implications.
