Broken pinky toe :-(

Today I broke my pinky toe it got caught on the coffee table leg ouch.. Well went to the doctors and I'm 5weeks and can't do anything figures .How long did it take you to be off your feet ? I didn't have a X-ray but the doctor sayed it looked bad it was way apart from the others..thanks ladies !!

All they do for broken toes is "buddy tape" it to the toe beside it.

Did they give you a post op shoe? Mine took about 8 weeks to heal for the most part. Would've been less but it got hit again around 4 weeks.
The only thing being off your feet is good for is with swelling and such. Otherwise you should be able to do regular daily activities, especially with a post op shoe.

Thank you!! Yeah I was just seeing how long it would take to heal I have a crazy toddler and work which is crazy during thanksgiving week.they didn't give me one just taped it together thanks girl:-)

Taping hurt like hell inside my shoe. Go to Walgreens or something and buy a post op shoe. They are flat and unbend able on the bottom. It makes it feel weird walking but you won't really notice pain. Trust me, it was a life saver!

Hah very true but I ment they were going to X-ray it and prescribe pain meds but couldn't..

I've broken many toes and fingers, and while I've gotten X-rayed for most, I've never been prescribed pain medicine.
