My 2 /12 month old son has a hard , white bump on his upper gums . Its not in the front but way off to the left side. I really don't think its a tooth but what else could it be? He has a normal temp and isn't drooling or fussier than normal.

i cant think of what they are called but its not something to worry about 2 of my girls were born with them i thought they were teeth at first lol

It looks like almost a canker sore or a cyst. I dont remember seeing them with my daughter so of course i had to freak out a little lol

More than likely its thrush, my daughter has it right now. I would call pediatrician to have them check it out, luckily we caught my daughters in tome before she got fussy

oh i thought you meant like a little white bump like a tooth point ya i would say maybe baby scratched and caused a "cold sore" type thing or thrush

Yea thats kind of what it looks like but wayyy to big to be a tooth. His gums and tongue/cheeks arn't white at all though. Just this bump thing
