The fact that men and women engage in this behavior has a negative impact on society, whatever names we choose to call them. If we're not allowed to look down on women who disrespect themselves, their partners, the other girl, and the commitment, we're pretty much sending the message that it's okay. There is are specific labels for girls and guys because girls and guys are different. The fact that women are always looked at as the worse sex has to do with double standards, not because of the words themselves.

As I said it depends on the situation, it's not always black and white. And even if it is I don't see the purpose of looking down on them.

I agree with you. I have been with a lot of people but I just don't think it is ever right to make an opinion on someone based on their sex partners in there life time.

Wow who are you to judge what people do? As long as they have safe sex then no one gets hurt. I have had multiple partners and never had an STD and did not get pregnant till I was in my 30's and could well afford a child. Why because I am educated and sex has no negative impact on people who know how to be safe. So let educate out kids on safe sex

Right? I've had over 20 sexual partners and I've never had an STD and I don't have any children. It's called not being a dumbass.

Um, no. If you read my original post in this thread, you'd know that I'm talking about women who cheat or knowingly hook up with married men. So who is getting hurt? Hmm....the other person in the relationship maybe?

Please quote me where I judged someone solely based on the amount of sexual partners they had. In fact, I gave my own number and it's not low. Reading the whole thread....it comes in handy.  

Also, I'm unsubscribing because I'm getting sick of saying the same thing over and over to people that don't bother to read all of my responses before challenging me.

But I'll go out on this note: When you cheat on someone, or help someone cheat on their SO, it HURTS the other person involved. It's immoral, wrong, gross, and just plain inconsiderate. There should be an equally degrading word for men who do this, but unfortunately there is not. So we shouldn't take away a "shaming" word for women who engage in SHAMEFUL behavior. It's a word that describes immoral behavior and our society itself is immoral enough.
