Nope, don't care at all. Everyone hated my first DS's name. He's Wesley and they said it was to much of an old man name. DS 2 is Colin and everyone liked it much better because it's a more popular name.

not really. most seem ok but no one has said anything. my cousin likes trendy names but not my kid so idc

Ehh my mom had a comment about everyone of my kids names,

My oldest she didn't like the middle name....(Her middle name is my great-grandma's name, and there was no convincing me NOT to use it, I even told DH that it was not negotiable)

DS....His name was to plain according to her

Youngest DD.....Her name was weird and people would call her Anakin Skywalker!

ours turned out to be Piper Sage.

I personally dont care who likes the names I pick out except my husband bc it's our child & not anyone else's lol . I wouldnt wanna pick a name I dont like just to make other people happy .

I give zero smurfs what they think of my kid's name or my future kids' names.

My kids. Not theirs.  

My mother hated my son's name too, in fact everyone hated it. They got over it. One thing I had to stand my ground on, they kept trying to come up with nicknames they felt comfortable with. I had to finally say "His name is Jasper, if I wanted to you to call him Jazz his birth certificate would say so."

i havent had any one say they didnt like what were nameing our baby girl jasmine ivy roy i have had lots of compliments but i dont care if they didnt like it as long as i liked it and my hubby who cares

Everyone likes my babies name, but if they didn't I would tell them to get over it because I'm not changing it for them. It's my child, not theirs. I could see it if I had a completely stupid and ridiculous name, y'know like "Yuuneek Prince" or something but Silas Niall is an actual name and whoever doesn't like it can kiss my ass
