HPV is warts, those usually stay around for a while. herpes virus causes cold sores, depending on the location of infection and the type they can appear anywhere but HSV1 tends to like the mouth and HSV2 prefers the genial area.

I've never had a cold sore on my mouth or my vagina, haha. I think I'm going to rule out herpes, lmao

It really sounds like it was just a cyst, boil or clogged pore. Possibly in reaction to irritation from the pad. If it's gone and you've recently been checked I think you're probably ok but if it happens again I would go to the Dr while it's there so they can take a look.

So maybe the Dr isn't necessary? It's not a huge pain in the ass to go but it does require some planning. I'd rather avoid it if I can. Is it one of those things where you get it once and you are more likely to have it happen again?

Yeahhhhh again SmUrf THAT, LOL. I'd rather have a Dr do it and get some pain meds. A scalpel is just as horrifying as a needle IMO. I'm not bringing either around my vagina on my own.

I have really sharp tweezer (yes I cleaned the hell out of them after) it hurt actually popping it, but once it started to drain, it felt sooooo much better.

At any given time i have no les than 5 and sometimes up to 20+. They arent a std just pus pockets. They vary in size from tiny pin heads to pea size. The small ones dont hurt just get itchy only the larger ones hurt. It has something to do with hormones and being extremely sensitive skinned, which is why i get so many. To rd the most part they stay small i only get big ones a cpl times a year now. Sometimes instead of lancing them ill just sqeeze gently on them and then wash with a anti-bacterial soap. When i squeeze them it seems to open a small hole so they drain on their own. They suck but ive learned to live with them.

I had one on my butt once, like right where my underwear line was. That thing hurt SO smurfing bad so I popped it in the tub. It hurt like hell doing it but felt great afterward. Mine must not have been that bad because theres no way I would have tried popping it, LOL

I looked that up and no thats not it. These are never red and the puss, on mine, isnt runny more like a dry paste.

mine just kept getting bigger and bigger and it burned all the time. I had to do something and I didn't want to go to the dr. over it. I just kinda picked at it a little here and there until I got a hole. It drained mostly almost instantly and then the rest over the next couple of hours. Every time I went to the bathroom I'd squeeze at it and soak it in rubbing alcohol. by the next morning It was like it never existed.

I have the most sensitive skin ever, LOL. I currently have chemical burns on my hands from putting them in bleach water. I had a reaction to deodorant once that peeled the skin off my armpits. My skin is so sensitive I have a standing level 3 topical steroid prescription on my file because the Dr's are so tired of giving me steroid shots in my ass over my small reactions that turn into staph infections. My body goes insane over minor irritations, I have an over active immune system combined with super sensitive skin. My body literally cannot stop attacking irritations without steroids to force it to stop. I've never had this smurf come up before and I'm going to be so SO pissed if it starts happening regularly.

Ive worked in the medical field most of my life and im very much a do it myself kind of girl lol. But to each her own and if ur more comfy with a doc then thats what u should do. I have found washing with Dial soap helps keep them at bay though.
