It was very small, a bit bigger than a pimple and the entire thing was white without any sort of head. Just a hard white knot under the skin.

I don't think I have an infection but I'm on my period so that whole area is a little messy now anyways. LOL it would be hard to tell, it's worse than normal.

Well that sounds like alot of different things... I agree with the PPs, maybe a reaction to the pad, or an ingrown hair. Sorry thats really not that helpful lol. I wouldnt worry about it, untill after you see what the doc has to say about it. Good luck

I had one that got pretty big and painful. it started out like a zit and then went to be like a huge blister. I popped that sucker and kept it clean with alcohol and it felt much better after about 2 days from popping it. All I found online is it was probably an ingrown hair.

Could be a bartholins gland cyst, irritation, herpes. I'd get it checked. Typically cancer in the vaginal area is caused by the HPV virus (genital warts) and those do not resolve as quickly as you've described. I'd go get it checked ut and have them do a work-up for HSV (have to specifically ask for it or some Dr's don't do it) and a pap (which checks for cervical changes that are caused by HPV)

I have many white bumps and if i lance them a dry white stuff comes out and they do get sore. When i asked my doc he said they r similar to zits/cysts and if i lance them thats fine or he could but not to be worried they arent anything bad. Ive had them for years sometimes only a cpl other times tons. If they start hurting i lance them and theyll go away.

I'm thinking ingrown hair though I've never really knew they could come up on the inner lip like that. I am glad it's gone though and I'll have my Dr check it out.

yeah, you can grow hair in there. I didn't know either until I had a lump bigger than my thumb.

I've done that with some in my general vaginal area but right in there? LOL Popping and cleaning it with alcohol sounds like some horrifying torture!!

Inner lip is a mucus membrane and typically does not grow hair but they do have cilia and lots of pores which can become clogged.

It's herpes warts? This wasn't a protrusion on my skin, it was deep underneath. I just had a pap 6 months ago that was clean, haven't changed sexual partners but uhhhh guess my husband could have.

Hidradenitis Suppurativa (ie acne inversa)?

My daughter has this, it causes boils in the groin area but can also affect the armpits and under the breasts.
