No pooch, all natural births.

I've heard it has less to do with c-section vs. vaginal and more to do with how in shape you are. If you have a strong abdominal wall, it will be more injured by a c-section but will also have the structure around it to allow you to build it up again.

And with all pregnancies, you will have a pooch if you don't have a strong abdominal wall. If you do, the baby doesn't push and stretch out as much and you don't get that sagging and bulge, the muscles kind of hold everything in.

I have a pooch.
My stomach has this weird line like a soft W with rounded edges (best way I know how to explain it) then skin and pooch under it..   Then again, I had some big babies that stretched me from my pubic area to my boobs.

I had 2 vaginal births, and with the first one my stomach went back to normal, but I got the "pooch" with the second.

I dont know if this was the deciding factor, but I delivered my eldest prematurely (36 weeks), and I did not get a single stretchmark.
With the second, I went to the full 40 weeks, and I did not get stretchmarks until the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy. So I am guessing that those last 2 weeks of pregnancy was when my abdominal muscles & skin could not take it anymore.....

Same here. I didn't have any until DD dropped like crazy at about 39 1/2 weeks. I didn't have any visible stretch marks until after I delivered, and they mostly faded quickly, but then pouch is still there, 3 1/2 years later. haha

DD- vaginally, no pooch, belly was almost normal at 6 weeks PP.
DSs- c-section, still have a pooch 4 months PP.
I need to exercise, that'll probably help at least a little.

I have a small pouch and I deliverd vaginally.
I'm a very tiny person 5'2 and like 100 pounds and my tummy got huge. I lost all my preg weight but my tummy never fully got back to normal...but 15 min abs p90x helped alot. Now I'm preg again and I know after this preg I will start up my abs workout again. It did wonders!
