"Overweight" Baby

posted 17th Nov
BD just loves to piss me off lol. A few weeks ago he told me to "slow down" on feeding Jude. Eye roll. He was concerned about our son becoming obese... WTF. I EBF and Jude is eating like a normal 3 month old, he's just a hefty little man lol. Granted he is almost 17 lbs and doesn't really fit into his infant car seat any longer haha. But he is SO healthy and his pedi just keeps singing my praises about his health. It frustrates me that BD keeps making snide comments about Jude being such a big baby. I think I'm doing a smurfing fabulous job for being the ONLY parent this kid really has on a day to day basis. Ugh. I even give up my scheduled breaks at work so I can pump breastmilk. It's exhausting to keep up with and, honestly, its a pain in the ass. You'd think he'd be grateful that I care enough to want to EBF. He even tried to tell me that going past 1 year with Jude wouldn't be okay with him. Oh, really? I'm sorry, I missed the part where I give a smurf about what you think.

Sigh. End vent. Eff you, BD. Eff you.

My HEALTHY 3 month old little man. His out fit is a 9 month lol.

He's fine, there's no such thing as an overweight EBF baby IMO.

He's so cute! My baby girl is big too, 11 weeks and 14lb 4oz. My grandma told me "she's gonna get fat" I just told her I don't care. She's in 3-6 month clothes now but it seems like as soon as she grew into them she's growing out of them! Been wearing them for maybe 2 weeks and some outfits are already too tight. But most people who see her say chubby babies are cute babies

My son was the same way. At 15 months and almost 30 pounds he's really leaned out. A lot.

My baby boy is 8 weeks and is 12 lbs. The doctor is sooo happy with how big he has gotten. I don't think babies can be overweight. My cousin was freakin huge and she is just fine now. She is gorgeous and very thin. It doesn't matter how big they are. He will probably thin out when he starts walking.
